Tim and I arrived for an appointment this week and sat in the waiting area. A little girl arrived with her family and sat next to us, grinning. Tim moved up, so the family could sit together and I complimented her tied-dyed dress. It had the same pink, cream and yellow colours as my top.
She introduced herself with her full name. I am guessing she was about six years old because she'd lost her two top baby teeth. She introduced her baby sister who was fast asleep in a buggy, her Mum and her Dad, with everyone's full names. Tim and I introduced ourselves, and this delightful youngster went on to tell us about her baby sister and her teacher. Her parents smiled throughout and we got the sense they are used to their little one's sunny nature.
We were called into our appointments at the same time as our appointees came out to collect us, so we all continued chatting as we walked down the corridor. She was skipping.
This dear little one, so full of joy, made us all smile and by the end of the corridor, everyone knew each other's names and we disappeared through our respective doorways with broad smiles on our faces, filled with happy energy.
She has stayed in our hearts all week with her gifted moments of joy. 🧡
That is a beautiful story UB. <3 xox 🦄💛

Happy children remind us to stop stewing about the annoying things in life and enjoy their joy.
How remarkable to have gotten to experience that JOY as well as to share YOURS! Blessed all around my friend. Annette Rochelle Aben
